O Divine Creator, Source of Mercy and Light,
With a heart heavy yet hopeful, I come before You today.
I come not to hide, not to excuse, but to surrender.
In the quiet corners of my soul, I acknowledge every wrong turn, every word spoken in anger, every act born of weakness, and every moment where I failed to choose love, kindness, and truth.
I confess the sins of my past — those I remember, and those buried deep.
The harm I’ve done knowingly and unknowingly.
The hearts I’ve hurt. The time I’ve wasted. The trust I’ve broken.
The times I turned away from compassion, and chose pride, fear, or selfishness instead.
O Forgiving One, I ask not because I deserve,
but because You are mercy itself.
Wash me clean from the shadows of guilt and shame.
Let Your forgiveness fall upon me like rain on dry earth —
restoring, softening, and making new.
Help me, Lord, to forgive myself, as You forgive me.
To learn from what is behind me, not be imprisoned by it.
Grant me the strength to make things right where I can,
and the wisdom to release what I cannot change.
May this be the turning point.
Let today be the day my heart returns to You completely.
Guide my steps forward with humility and sincerity.
Help me to walk in love, speak in truth, act in grace, and live with purpose.
Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a right spirit within me.
Let my past no longer be my burden,
but the soil from which new life grows.
Thank You for hearing me. Thank You for Your mercy.
Thank You for never giving up on me.
Amen.
